Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend!! We packed up and headed south to my parent’s house/cabin in Bend OR (Sunriver to be exact, :0) for those of you in the know) and yes, Jack even tagged along too!
When we got back from our trip on Monday, we received a couple exciting bits of news:
#1- We will be featured on HGTV’s House Hunters October 8th.
Click here for more details! Mark and Ashley on House Hunters Seattle http://www.hgtv.com/house-hunters/a-seattle-couple-has-trouble-deciding-on-a-condo-or-a-house-in-seattle/index.html
We filmed back in June so it is exciting to actually have a date :0)
#2- We were selected to move on to the 2nd round of the American Lamb Pro-Am!
The competition will be held October 10th at the Cedarbrook Lodge (http://www.cedarbrooklodge.com/). We will be paired with Chef Bobby Moore of the Barking Frog (http://www.willowslodge.com/barking_frog/) and will be preparing our lamb dish with him.
#3- We just received our press passes to attend the Galway International Oyster & Seafood Festival (http://www.galwayoysterfest.com) later this month! After we attend the festival we will be popping over to France to indulge in the Parisian lifestyle….good thing we have been taking French lessons :0)
#4- Not really news to us BUT on the 2nd of September Mark and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary!! The past year has been amazing and we have managed to stay on the move– hopefully the upcoming year will be just crazy and chaotic, just how we like it :0)
This fall/winter should be an exciting ride and we look forward to sharing it with you all!
Nice wrap-up of exciting times… enjoying your adventures.
ps… your parents place in Sunriver is no cabin, it is ultimate luxury…
I’m watching you on HGTV which is how I found your blog! Love your recipes!
Thank you! We love food and house hunters! 😉
OK, I’m going to look at the recipes… I still think you should have taken the second condo. 🙂
Love Jack!!
Thank you! He thinks he’s pretty rad too 😉
I saw you guys on House Hunters, so looked up your Blog. I’m adding it to my favorites list – love it! I’m originally from Vancouver, B.C. so it’s nice to see pictures of the West Coast.
Sweet! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
