Welcome to the Seattle Cook a joint collaboration between my wife (real estate professional) and I (internet entrepreneur). We got married Sept 2011. We enjoy food, drinking, throwing parties and all around having a great time in the kitchen.
Ashley has a cat named Jack (sous chef).
You will see throughout this blog links to where, what, who we cooked with when avaliable. Hopefully this will help you in deciding what to prepare. Overall I hope the Seattle Cook shows you that the honeymoon is not over 🙂

Just saw you on House Hunters. Mark, I’m with Ashley. I’d picked the house. But ir would be great to be near the Market.
Spend several weeks in Seattle over a period of several years. My daughter had brain surgery at Harbor View (Yes, she’s doing pretty well, because of the marvelous surgeon, Dr. Sekhar.) Had several opportunites to go to the Market and on the great Sur la Table, nearby.
Love Seattle.

Hey, greetings from Toronto. I just saw you both on House Hunters. I love your laid back approach to house hunting and life. You both are pretty funny and very cool. Your recipes in your food blog look incredibly delicious and seem really original. Ashley, I wish I needed property in Seattle. But if I do, you’ll be at the top of my list. Thanks for the cool recipes.

I’m in South Florida and planning our Super Bowl celebration and I need your help! Our family tradition is to make foods indigenous to the areas of the country where the two competing teams are from. For Seattle, I’ve been thinking salmon and coffee as highlighting ingredients, but I’m sure there’s more to it than that. Is there a specific dish that “sings Seattle”? Could be an app, main, side, dessert or cocktail.
Sounds great! Or a solid crab cake/ crab cocktail! Go hawks!
I am watching HH right now and I don’t know which home you are going to choose – but, I got so inquisitve so I am checking out your blog while I am waiting for these darned commercials to end. God Bless!!! Bonnie in Iowa
Thanks for stopping by! Did you enjoy the episode? 😉
