Mark was out of town again so I snacked my way through the weekend! I don’t know why but these guys caught my eye when I was Pinterest’ing…
Pretty self-explanatory…cut up strong cheese in 1″ pieces, dip in milk, then in breadcrumbs and bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes. I added 1/2 breadcrumbs, 1/2 panko, salt, garlic powder, oregano and a little spice- cayenne pepper. You could fry too.
Use parchment paper or you will have a mess! And make sure to eat them while they are warm…not very exciting when cold.
Tonight- lasagna!

This should be more specific, because my breadcrumbs wouldn’t stick to my cheese. I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do, whatever it is- ain’t nobody got time for that
Hi Valeria! Thanks for stopping by!
It is a bit tricky to get the crumbs to stick. I repeated the dipping of the cheese in the milk/rolling in the crumbs a few times for each piece. You can also try using a heavier milk or cream so that crumbs stick.
I hope that helps :0)
I tried this and I got just runny puddles of cheese. What happened?
Hi Penny–
Sorry to hear that. You may have cooked them just a tad too long. But I will tell you use the cheapest cheese you could find 😉 let me know!
