If you need a side dish, brussels sprouts are a great way to go! Even better, oven baked truffled brussels sprouts with bacon- YUM.
What you need:
3-4 slices of thick bacon, cut into 1/2 inch peices
Bundle of brussel sprouts
1-2 tbsp white truffle oil, just enough to coat the sprouts
Kosher salt, to taste
Fresh ground peper, to taste
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place bacon peices in a small saucepan and cook on medium low heat until the bacon is half cooked.
Meanwhile, in a baking dish coat the brussel sprouts with truffle oil, salt and pepper. Pop them in the oven!
Bake for about 20 minutes and then stir the half cooked bacon pieces in with the brussels sprouts.
Bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the sprouts are tender and serve immediately.
