Last weekend I made a steak and basically nuked it. I know what I did wrong. I will keep this short…heat the skillet till it is whisping smoke. Cook 4 minutes per side. Melt a compound butter over the top. Let rest for a couple minutes. Crumple up fresh goat cheese. I quickly tossed a couple brussel sprouts in a truffle oil (then I made this martini 🙂
Cool thing…steaks were delivered via Postmates from Whole Foods South Lake Union 🙂
4 minutes? I realize that’s a thick steak Mark, but I would say 2.5 or 3 minutes for rare. Nonetheless it looks quite tasty 🙂 – Jim in TO
Haha Jim…yeah I know…but when I use the skillet Ash makes me nervous i.e. your making a mess (she stands over me saying) 🙂
