Average cab. Cheap wine. Acidic with tannins.

Felt light with a bite that did not fade; dry with a hint of citrus.
Honestly in our opinion the only thing to order…
A decent in-air treat. The wine started to taste better as we cruised at 35,000 feet. Slightly bitter with hints of blackberries.
Enjoyed by the glass at Kimo’s in Lahaina. I only sipped as this was Mrs. Hayes’s (Ashley’s moms glass). Definitely detected a spicy note with hints of berries. Great wine by the glass!
Enjoyed this Sonoma Coast pinot noir with 2 lobster tails at Mamas Fish House in Maui. Purchased before headed to the restaurant in the town of Paia at the Wine Corner. With a $30ish price tag and another $35 corking fee at the restaurant…this pinot was still tasty but not by much. I (MM) tend to prefer pinots from the Sonoma Coast this one however while tasty still needed some age. After 1 hr in a decanter the wine opened up and went down smooth.
One of the better zins we purchased on our Maui trip. Pepper and spice rounded out this California zin.
A stronger zin. Bitter plum with hints of soil. Paired with grilled chicken thighs in the Maui night.
Bought on the island of Maui in the town of Kihei, enjoyed while watching the sunset. The wine was rough, slightly opened up in the end. Decent value. Ash sipped.

Had a few sips while sailing a beautiful duck dodge on lake union. To me it was a very dry, young rose.
