The Perfect Charcuterie Spread
Posted on March 24, 2014
We had a wine event in our building and I was asked to prepare a few items for snacking while residents sip!
Had a lot of fun with this one compliments of our favorite vendors in Pike Place- Frank’s Produce, BBRanch, Delaurenti and Le Panier….as well as SLU Whole Foods!
I even came up with my own clever recipe ;0) for a Sundried Tomato and Feta Spread. Super easy- 1 cup apprx of Sundried Tomatoes in oil (with herbs and garlic preferably- Whole Foods item) and 1 cup apprx of crumbled Feta with pepper (also a Whole Foods item).
I used my Cuisinart hand mixer but a food processor would work just fine. Mix the two ingredients together, adding a little more olive oil if the consistency is too thick for a spread, and a little salt/fresh cracked pepper to taste. Serve with a sliced baguette or with crackers!
